This Too Cute Tuesday post:
Lauren's spring school pictures!!
Too Cute - I think for this week, we will name it:
"Too Beautiful Tuesday!!"
Here are some pictures left over from yesterday.
The kids were pretty tired after church and this is how they ended up!!
Church clothes and all...
Sunday Funny -
Lauren shaving Daddy's back...
Laugh it up!!!
Daddy bowls on Wednesdays, so the kiddo's & I usually have movie nights. I recently TiVo'd Garfield Gets Real, and the kids snuggled up on their regular spot. They loved it!! It is quickly becoming a favorite.
I could not decide on a picture today for Too Cute Tuesday.
Here is Ethan "keeping his eye on the ball"
Here he is...
Oh who am I kidding? I have absolutely no idea what he is doing...
He is Too Cute though!!
Today, there is no fun picture to post or cool story to tell. We started having de-construction and cleaning done in our basement today. We have found mold growing in what should be a new, clean and dry basement. Now we think we know why our kids have been so sick. This is just the start and I will try to keep you all updated on this yucky situation.
Lauren was so happy today to break out the chalk and draw me a pretty flower on the driveway!!
Lauren was so excited to be outside playing!!
Winter has been so long for us up here, we are ready for some warmth!!
Go outside to play 'cause it is nice out for the first time since October...
...Ethan wants to shovel. In his galoshes.
Too Cute!!
Tonight, Ethan was super tired and went to bed a little early. This was a fun opportunity for some Lauren time!!
Mommy, Daddy & Lauren all had a cup of tea and some really yummy banana bread!! Then, we played a game of Yahtzee!!
Lauren won of course... She ALWAYS wins...

Today at Laurens school, was the Teddy Bear Picnic!! I was able to take the morning and go help in her classroom. Lauren got to bring Burfy to school and they got to wear their PJ's all day!!Lauren and Burfy went to many different stations.
She got to read stories to Burfy.
She measured Burfy's circumference with links.
She measured Burfy's height with unifix cubes.
She sorted and tallied teddy bears.
She even got to make her own blueberry pie!We had such a fun day!!And PS. Happy 30th Birthday Brad!!!!!
Today was our spring conference with Lauren's Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Vagts.
As all parents do, we think that our daughter is very smart. Our conference blew us away.
As of today, the end of the 2nd trimester, Lauren has already mastered every skill necessary to pass Kindergarten. She is demonstrating all social, emotional, communication and work habit skills consistently. She has also surpassed all skills in mathematics and literacy.
Here is the good part...
Lauren was tested on her literacy skills. She is reading at a 2nd grade 2nd trimester level. WOW!! We knew she was good, but that is awesome!! That is a full 2 years advanced!!
Lauren is also being recommended for some extra testing. There is a Gifted and Talented program here in Brainerd, located at Lowell Elementary School. Lauren is going to be testing to see if she will be accepted into the program!
He likes his broccoli...
Too Cute!!
