This picture is from yesterday, after the Piggy Opera. We were invited to Lauren's kindergarten classroom for cookies & pink lemonade. Lauren's good friend Samantha and her family were also there and Ethan was very excited to play with her little brother, Mason. They have become friends. In this picture, Ethan & Mason were looking a little bit guilty, playing behind the pocket charts.

The "3 Piggy Opera"

Today was the long awaited performance of the "3 Piggy Opera"!!

It was awesome!!

Lauren and the other kindergartners sang their way thru a fun "opera" version of the 3 little pigs.

We are so proud of you Lauren, we love you so much!!

Ok, so my kids have never been "bath" kids, they have taken showers most of their lives. But, whoever invented the "tub crayon" gets mad props in my book! The kids love to draw us pictures & Lauren now loves to write us messages and hangman games and such while she is in the shower.

2 days ago, Lauren wrote her name on the wall. "Lauren". I then wrote - "is the best daughter ever!!"






This morning, I get in the shower to see this...

(if you can't read it) it says:

Mommy is the best mom ever.












(she adds):
I like Ethan & dad too!

Sunday with Gma Penny & Gpa Steve!!

Today, we got an awesome visit from Gma Penny & Gpa Steve!!

They came up all the way from Coon Rapids and brought Lauren & Ethan a super cool picnic table!! It is sooo beautiful!! I know that the kids (& I) will have a great time using it this summer!!


Thank you guys soooo much for such a nice day!!!!

May Day baskets and my sneaky little Lauren
